Located in the picturesque
hills of northwest Connecticut, the Foothills BMX facility
is nestled in a cozy setting which incorporates great
areas for viewing. The track itself is 1190 feet long
with 5 asphalt turns and usually enjoys a large turnout
out of some of the best riders that New England has
to offer. We race under the sanction of The National
Bicycle League and we are a member of Nutmeg BMX, the
governing body that oversees the racing at four tracks
in Connecticut. For information on the other tracks
and the state program, please click on the Nutmeg BMX
logo to the left of this screen.
With the highest average rider
count per race day in the NBL, our moto counts are usually
between 45 and 50 each Sunday afternoon between May
1st and August 31st.
The Litchfield County
BMX Group Incorporated is focused on making your visit
to Foothills BMX an enjoyable experience.
The track is open to the general
public on non-event days from dawn until dusk. Helmets
are required at all times.
