December 12th, 2010
- The NBL is changing the requirements to move from Rookie
to Novice (Now called Challenger) and from Challenger
to Expert. This change will be effective on January 1st,
2011.
What does it take to move from
Rookie to Challenger?
Since the idea of a Rookie in any other sport is that
of a first-season player, a Rookie will be moved up to
Challenger after a minimum of 40 Gate drops AND
a minimum of one (1) year racing.
If a rider has more than 40 Gate drops at any point in
the year, then he cannot move up until the end of the
full first year. If, however, a rider has less than 40
Gate drops at the end of the first year, then he cannot
move up until he achieves the 40 drops.
To move from Challenger to Expert,
a rider must meet the following three conditions:
1. A minimum of 100 gate drops (includes 40 earned as
Rookie) and
2. A minimum of 24 months total participation and
3. In the 90th Percentile (roughly top 10%) in their
class
Here is the link to the riders in the NBL who, if their
name appears on this alphabetical list, will be moved
up to the next proficency level on January 1st.

- Thanks so much to everyone who helped out at our Benefit
fundraiser yesterday. The cold air did not prevent the
heart warming experience of helping out a family in
need. From the participants to the volunteers and people
who donated items and cash, you are all wonderful people..

- On Sunday, December 5th, we will be hosting a "Benefit
Open House Day" for a family whose house recently
burned to the ground along with all of their belongings.
We are asking for $10 donation and will make the track
ridable for everyone and run some practice motos if
possible. There will also be a silent auction all in
hopes of rasing some money for a needy family. Registration
is from 10:00 to 11:30 am with festivities starting
at noon. Full NBL required gear us required.
