INFORMATION ON LITCHFIELD COUNTY BMX

The track was opened in 1995 and was started by a few volunteer parents who wanted to introduce BMX Racing to the Torrington area.

This was in response to some kids calling "Torrington" "Borington". We applied for and received non-profit status from the Government in 1999. In 2004 we became classified as a "Public Charity" under the provisions of 501-c3 status. This was important as all donations are tax deductible.

2024 Track Sponsorship

Foothills BMX Racing Facility in Alvord Park Torrington CT is about to embark on our 29th year in 2024 and we are in the starting process of expanding and growing our track and facility. We pride ourselves on being a group of dedicated volunteers, who are focused on developing the facility, on land leased from the city, into a picturesque setting, which promotes the sport of BMX through volunteerism.

We are asking for your financial support to keep Foothills BMX strong. We are in a continuous building mode and have enjoyed help from the business community in the form of monetary donations, service donations and items such as bleachers, asphalt and building materials. For fund raising we sell advertising to promote area businesses. Your business can receive advertisement signs displayed at the track, mentions on race day, awards sporting your logo, banner link to our website and social media posts throughout the 2024 season. We are confident that your business will get the exposure its looking for, while supporting a worthy community group such as Foothills BMX. Below are the costs of the different levels of sponsorship, ranging from $350 to $15,000.

RIDER SPONSORSHIP 2024

This is a great opportunity to provide a racer with a season full of fun and the advertiser to enjoy a season full of recognition as well. With a USABMX membership included the $330 cost covers up to 20 single point races, 1 State Qualifier and admission to our year end outing. Gold Cup Qualifier is excluded.

Sponsors will have their company name announced numerous times during the race day and it will also appear in our weekly race reports.

If you already have your USABMX membership, the cost is $250 for 1 bike and $450 for 2 bikes (20" and cruiser class) for the season.

The price will decrease by the amount of the entry fee for any race that has gone by at the time of the purchase of the sponsorship.
